Dance Discussion Group opens in Manchester!

We would like to start a discussion group in Manchester. to establish a forum of people from the wider dance community in the area to discuss questions around how audiences respond to live and particularly screen dance.

As well as discussion, we envisage that the sessions could have a practice-based element (e.g. workshops, screenings and performances).

The initial drop-in sessions will enable us to meet up with potential participants and to find out what you would be interested in exploring through this group, your background, preferred times, etc.

You are welcome to attend either session or both. You can come at any time that you are available within the timeframes given

Date: Tuesday, 24 March 2009
Session 1: 12.30–2pm at Christies Bistro, Manchester University
Session 2: 6.30–8pm upstairs at the Cornerhouse Café, Oxford Road.

We look forward to seeing you!
